Adrian’s film-music career started with George Fenton in 1990, with production work on the BBC wildlife  series, The Trials of Life and feature-film, The Fisher King. He continued with films as diverse as Land and Freedom, The Madness of King George and August in which he worked to realise Anthony Hopkin’s own score. In 1996 he started working as a composer in his own right. He has composed the music for several BFI/BBC films including Speak like a child for John Akomfrah and The Stringer for Pol Pavlovski.

Adrian composed the music for several C4 documentaries, several of which have won awards including David Starkey’s Henry VIII, Stalkers and Prostitution for John Akomfrah. In 1993 and 1998-99 he played keyboards and guitar on tour with Mike Oldfield, and has been his musical director for the past 6 years. He has also worked with Fat Boy Slim, Japan and Siouxsie and the Banshees.

In 2002 Adrian wrote the music for several series for Bravo and the score for the feature film, Laguna which was recorded in Budapest.

In 2003 he started collaborating with Guy Farley. He co-wote and co-produced the scores for the TV film:-Mother Theresa starring Olivia Hussey and Modigliani starring Andy Garcia. In 2005 they produced the scores for Irish Jam, a romantic comedy starring Anna Friel, Land of the Blind starring Donald Sutherland and Ralph Fiennes, as well  as Cashback for Sean Ellis . They scored the music for The Flock starring Richard Gere and also worked on the a Portugues film, Dot.Com for Luis Galves Teles.

In the last year they have scored the music for Carling, Tetley and Oxfam commercials. This year they will be scoring the animated Documentary March of the Dinosaurs and Phillipe Martinez’s Tribes of October.
